Noticed the last time my car was serviced the 2 bolts securing the engine cover have been overtightened and has a result one of the nuts on top or the cover will not come off, it just turns and turns, Therefore I had to slighty damage the right hand side cover where it fits over the nut to remove the cover, then I noticed the bolt and nut just turns and where it is fitted some mechanic has tried to vice grip the bolt and remove the nut, and it did not work.
My question is has any one ever replaced this bolt and how is a new one fitted?
