  • Lowering cruise control 'kick - in ' speed

    Hello all,
Here could be a tough question.

I think the minimum speed the cruise will hold in at is 50km/h

On other previous cars, the management system could be adjusted to allow, say a 30km/h cruise.

Is this possible with our Prado's?

I am thinking of miles and miles of bad roads, where say a 30km/h cruise ability would just be the ticket !

I wonder if this is different across countries. The minimum in Aus-branded Prados is 40km/h (actually, I think it may be 38- or 39-ish).

In what situations do you want cruise set so low? Just curious.

      Cheers, Nige.

          .
          Hello Nige,
For traveling very bad rutted roads, that have a habit of continuing for miles and miles.

Just spent 2 weeks driving a hired Camry. The cruise control would cause the auto to change down on even a slight uphill grade.
