120 Appraisal

Hi All,
I am thinking about upgrading to a newer prado and was just after ball park figures on what i could expect to sell my current prado both privately and as a trade in.

It is a 2006 dune petrol auto prado with 90,000kms. it has all the usual gxl options plus snorkel, towbar, tinted windows, leather interior, sunroof and sand grabba mats(front, middle and rear).

Any thoughts or ideas on what to expect would be greatly appreciated

It could be anywhere between $25,000 - $31,000. If you are upgrading, I would suggest you remove the sandgrabbers and re-use them, otherwise sell them on eBay as the dealer probably wouldn't give you anything for them in the trade in price.

HI Alan, posting pictures would enable members' to provide a more accurate estimate. Without seeing the vehicle, probably mid to high 30s. Don't trade it in, you'll lose too much.

thanks for the idea I will take some picutres over the week end. just put another post up looking for the flinders colour on a prado, looks like an interesting colour.

Otherwise, you could utilise your PP membership by posting it in the for sale section of this forum. Ebay is another good avenue for selling prados. Good luck.
