    Flinders Red Colour

    Hi All,
    went down to the dealership to sus out a new d4d and looking at the colour chart I have narrowed it down to two colours . Silver ash which is everywhere and flinders red of which i have never seen one. I have looked through the buildups and could not find one even though i may have missed one. just after a link to picture of that colour and if there is any problem with that colour.

                The Flinders red is nice but I must second ntpryce, Dune is were its at....

                Not that we had a choice unless we wanted to wait it was the last one on the lot.

                        Pick your colour by considering where you are going to take you rig. If you are just sticking to bitumen then any colour is great. But if you are going to get serious then you will probably end up with a lot of scratches. Lighter colours tend to hide these scratches considerably better than darker. Even if you are not hardcore but go off down funny little tracks then scratch scratch scratch.

                        Mine is Navy Blue but looks like it has racing stripes.

                        The more common colours seem to be black, silver, white, dune, and now that dirty brown that IP and Golly drive :lol:

                            I have to admit that I dont see that many green Prado's around the place. The occasional blue one goes by. Not sure I'd actually order a green machine though, just looks too much like a spearmint milkshake or something which makes me go green just thinking about.

                            As the "dirty brown" comment is a clear attempt to bait me and Golly into flying off the handle, I will do no more than let the ultimate known truth stand steadfast. :lol: :lol: :mrgreen:
