  • Who Has ASC and TC Control added to their GXL

How many people have added this option and does it make a noticeable difference.

I have the option pack fitted. Not sure how much difference it makes but I consider any safety improvement is worth thinking about.

We have option pack one and once driving on a fairly corrugated road and rounding a bend you could feel the VSC kick in.
As bgreeni said above any safety feature has to be a bonus.

It is a factory fitted only option ( i.e. if you already have the car you are stuck with standard ABS )

I got it and am pretty happy with the decision. The TC is a problem in soft sand but if you lock the centre diff it disables the TC and then works fine in sand. I have found TC and ASC very handy recently on a long off-road trip.

              Mmmm ... don't think that's right.

It disables the VSC ( stability control ) but not the Traction Control .
