  • 2008 Grande Hands Free

New to the forum, Find it very informative.
My problem is I have a Telstra brand mobile (T7 model). the phone will pair and connect through bluetooth with the Hands Free. However, it always rings the previous number when using the Hands Free. eg ring A then ring B the Hands Free will again ring A's number. (my wife's phone which is a nokia seems to have no problem)

I have spoken to Toyota, Telstra, Fujitsu Ten and cannot get a solution.

    Any advice is appreciated.

I have two of those phones with similar problems with my new SX Prado.

The Prado Bluetooth works correctly with all 6 other model phones I have tried in the last few weeks but the T7 doesn't work except as you described. It is the same with T7 and other Bluetooth devices such as a BlueAnt Supertooth 3 and a Mio C720 Navigator.

One of my T7s was replaced yesterday under warranty for a different fault and the T-Life tech people say there is no solution to the problem. Rather than waste any more time on it I will either go back to my previous Samsung which works correctly or buy a cheap new prepaid phone to use until the contract expires and I can get a new phone.

When I was travelling up the Darling River last year I did find the T7 which is Blue Ticked worked much better than any other NextG phone in the convoy, none of which had the tick.

Let me know if you find a solution.

      Re: 2008 Grande Hands Free

A mate of mine reports the same problem with a T7 and his Colorado.

In my 2008 Grande the Nokia seem to work fine.

Sounds like a change of phone coming up.
