Re: Magnum Winches
I think you'll find Tabor are Warn's 'value' winches. They used to be branded Magnum so I don't know who is making Magnum now.

Re: Magnum Winches
Warn still make the Magnum winches to my knowledge. Have a look on the site and my understanding si that any of the models that start with an M are a "Magnum" winch. These are in both the Heavyweight and Premium Series winch lines. If my understanding of this is incorrect then I applogise in advance.:
WARN Self-Recovery Winches for Trucks & SUV
ARB also have these listed ARB Warn WinchesNick

Re: Magnum Winches
I don't know what M stands for in the product code but it's not Magnum. There was never a Magnum high mount only a 900lb low mount. Maybe Magnum is an ARB branded Warn, like their fridges were rebadged Engels. Either way like any winch, as long as you look after it properly it will serve you well.My Prado

Re: Magnum Winches
l was told by ARB Brighton the Magnum is the old Warn 9000lbs.
They recon its a good thing but parts are expensive and gets pretty hot so have to be careful with rope.
Probably spend the extra $500 to buy the real thing...its more powerful brother; a warn.2003 GXL turbo diesel, Sovereign bar, Tigerz 11 12000lb winch with dyneema rope, lightforce XTG, GME UHF, Redarc dual battery controller, ARB air compressor,
Safari snorkel, Old Man Emu springs and shocks 50 mm lift, Mickey Thompson 4 rib, Rhino racks, Milford barrier, much more
TAMBO CAMPER
