  • Prado Recall

Went to my PO Box today and inside was a letter from Toyota recalling the Prado over a 'drive train issue'.

Apparently it affects all 120 series Prado's.

Say's it should be taken immediately to the nearest service centre.

    Anyone else recieve this?

Its bloody annoying I dont have time to take it during the week and my local service centre is closed weekends.

They say dont drive the vehicle till its fixed....Are they going to supply a replacement??? ARGH!!!

This is the phone number that you need to call and they will let you know about it. I will be phoning on Monday to see what they say

"Ring 1800 643 242 and check if yours is one of the faulty units.
You need to supply your VIN number as they won't tell you the affected numbers first !"

            Hey Embi,

Isn't it part of the April Fools tradition to actually "fess up" at some stage?

The 1800 number is legit. I just called them. No recalls on my Oct 2005 build.
