Toyota Grande Factory Car Alarm - Broken?

I purchased by 2005, Grande around a year ago and haven't had any problems with it up until lately.

The alarm continues to go off in the middle of the night and day totally out of the blue and without human intervention.

I believe it is being triggered by the open door sensors, though I have unscrewed all the door sensors and 'cleaned' them but the alarm still seems trigger.

Any ideas involving potential different triggers to the alarm or fixes to the current hypothesized problem would be greatly appreciated.

Could be a dicky door switch. You could try removing and taping up the cables to each switch to see if it stops the issue. If it does put them all back bar one and use that method to isolate which switch it is.

Though, if i removed the switch and tried to isolate which one it was. Wouldn't the car display the door which now has no switch as 'open'? making this method useless as the car constantly displays 'open doors' and one switch is missing?

Are they single or dual wire to each switch?
