gday crew, i am looking at an 08 prado 120 diesel in a private sale up in noosa, was wondering if anyone knew a good mechanic/car inspector that would be able to give me an unbiased opinion on the car. as it will be freighted to adelaide i was hoping that i could get a real opinion, and thorough inspection especially from a prado expert. i am asking if anyone is interested in helping or knows someone that would be able to help, i would appreciate any help possible. cheers kym

Try the RACQ they run an inspection service.

cheers chuck, but i am looking for a more personal service, someone looking as if they were buying it for themselves, etc. hope someone knows of someone they would trust. would use raa when i have looked at car myself, but cant get there (or not financially possible). cheers kym

I purchased my Prado through a vehicle wholesaler on the Gold coast earlier in the year. His fee was $300.00 on top of the vehicle purchase price. He was quite happy to inspect any car I found on-line. I am happy to PM you his details if you like.

PM sent also you could try their local toyota dealer they should know what they are looking at.
