  • 120 Grande 03 V6 Alarm (HORN)

    G'day,
First time on Forum, The other Night (I Park in the Street) At 2am My Grande set off the Horn Alarm and Flashed the Indicators, by the time I got outside it had stopped (No Thieves' about) checked all doors reset via door lock not remote. 4.00am did the same thing, to scared to reset so left Car Unlocked for fear of Neighbour Rebellion and Wife.
Is this a Known problem? and can it be fixed? or is it Random?
Can the HORN be disabled from coming on?

Please Advise Had Car for 6 Months

Check the door switches. If the doors are closed but the switches are showing as open, then the alarm will go off.

Thanks, It has New Battery (6 moths old), will check door switches, although I would think Interior light would stay on.

Maybe for the time being just disconnect the negative terminal on the battery, close the bonnet and lock the doors manually. The horn won’t work without battery power. I’d do that till I got to the bottom of it to avoid annoying the neighbours during the night.
