It will likely be sluggish as hell if you don't. It will turn them but will be a lot of strain on everything.

Mine’s a petrol, but when I bought mine it had 33 inch AT’s fitted. Barely noticeable power difference between the 33’s & 32’s I had fitted after. I did question the owner of potential power loss when I test drove it and it was responsive with 33’s on it as he gave me permission to give it some right boot to see for myself.
