Increasing tyre height

Has anyone increased their tyre height? what are the issues or implications. I was thinking of going from 265/65/17 to 265/70/17. I also tow an old van a lot but mostly on road with about 20% off road.

Yep.
Fuel economy will change by roughly 2-2.5 litres more used per 100.
Takeoff will be slower.
Gears will hunt a little more at highway speeds as the torque converter locks and unlocks (Especially when towing).
Speedo will possibly be inaccurate (Check with a GPS) Mine on dash with the 70 series tyre read 100kmh on dash was actually 104 Kph in real time.
You will notice it slightly more towing. Power will be down.

For your use case, don't bother. It'll just be worse.
