Tow bar tongue.

Mostly a question out of curiosity. I use a standard Toyota hitch ( solid ) and am going to turn it upside down for some extra height. Does anyone know of any negatives to doing that? Thanks

Check the plates on your tow tongue and tow bar,and in your handbook, because sometimes, the tow capacity rating is reduced if the tow tongue is turned over.

Also check that the higher coupling won’t foul your back door.

Doesnt make a difference, same 250kg. look on underside of tongue for label.
