  • Removing LPG system and refitting OEM rear tank.

    Hi guys,

First post here as I have tried to find this information on the wider internet and also by searching the forums to no avail.

I have purchased a 120 series petrol that had an LPG system fitted. It stopped working about 12 months ago and I am getting it removed so I can get the rear tank back. Reason being I live in NW QLD and there isn't LPG available out here for long trips out of town so I need the rear tank again so I can stop planning trips around petrol availability.

I won't be doing any of this myself but I will be sourcing parts from a wrecker.

What exactly do I need to ask for? I know the basics of how the system works so I'm aware I don't need to do any wiring or a transfer pump or anything.

Is it just the tank, tank guard and hoses? If anyone does know what I need in it's entirety I would greatly appreciate a list of what to source.

    Thanks for your time,
    Regards

    Stalefish.

Are you aware of any wiring loom besides the level indicator?

Likely the blinker fluid loom as well.
