Hey all, new forum member here. Been getting tips from reading this forum for a while, now I have a question I haven't found asked already.
Has anyone fully replaced a 120 series petrol exhaust themselves, or have a clear idea of any issues that would be involved?
My 2008 4l petrol Prado has seen a lot of beach use, and the exhaust from between the cat converters on each side is buggered. I can pick up a whole exhaust system in good nick (off a country use Prado) from the wreckers for about $400 ($500 with all 4 cat converters). Since most of my system is buggered, I reckon I may as well a spend the extra $100 to replace the whole system including all cat converters.
I'm thinking about taking a crack at replacing it myself, but haven't done any exhaust work before. It looks pretty straightforward, but want to know what issues I may run into.
Has anyone done this? And what was your experience with it?
Cheers
