  • Stereo replacement in 2003 Prado 120

Hi Guys, My first post on pradopoint! Have found it a great source of info in general but now have a specific question
I am looking at upgrading my infotainment system from original and have not found much recent info for my make and model.Have trawled the forum and last I could see was a 2016 discussion
Has anyone upgraded their unit for the 2003 model and if so what did you use and how did it go.Any advice, suggestions appreciated.
    Cheers

Any double DIN stereo unit will fit. Autobarn sell the aerpro adaptor leads so its all plug n play. Aerpro also make the small panel to fit each side of radio to hide gaps.
I fitted a Sony unit only regret is didn't spend more to fit android style unit. Also fitted a new antenna on guard.

Quality car wiring harness and wiring loom help protecting inner conductors. Find the right cable harness for your vechicle and buy online at Autobarn now!

      Thanks Sparksy,
      checked out the Aero parts
Am looking at a kenwood unit but I need the unit to have the usb outlets easily accessible. Do you know if theres a fascia unit that has usb outlets or will I have to instal the usb outlets as a standalone plug.
Also not sure what you mean re antenna on guard. Was also looking at a new antenna as the prado stock antenna in the heating unit is pretty ordinary

I made and fitted a bracket that sits on top of guard and used a existing bolt.
