  • Stereo Replacement options - with off road maps

Hi, onto my fourth stereo in 2005 VX, replaced the first with polaris, after a couple of years radio stopped working and maps where expensive to upgrade, replace with a digioption, it worked well, but again last two years radio doesn't work (not a antenna problem, the radio app doesn't search for station and can't manually change), and would like to upgrade maps.

So now looking at options, but appears there isn't a australian supplier that fits prado with nav and ozi-explorer. (would go with digi options again due to price but appears no longer available for prado 120)

Has anyone brought a single system recently that works, or do I need to go to a apple play head unit (ie sony), and get a HEMA app on phone for off road.

    Thanks Michael

I just got an alpine deck with usb cable
decide if you want Bluetooth only carplay ($1000) mark, or go with a cheaper option using a usb cord into the deck ($500-$700)
And just use the hema app as its with you all the time, not with the deck when u sell the car
