Hello, one day, I got into my Toyota and tried to start it. A very ugly noise appeared. Luckily, the next time I turned the key, the car started perfectly. However, something bad was about to happen.
In this video, I show how to fix a Bendix that doesn’t engage with the flywheel. I also demonstrate how to remove the Toyota’s starter motor and disassemble it. I explain the two most common starter motor failures and how to fix them: the Bendix failure and the failure of the automatic solenoid contacts (Click click click).
