  • Disable reversing sensors temporarily

Folks, is there a way to temporarily disable th e reversing sensor or just the B-E-E-E-E-E-P when I am reversing something attached to the towbar? It would be reat to have a switch to turn it off and on - any ideas?

    Thanks!

If you have the Toyota OE sensors, look in the jack well for the speaker and flick the sitch to off, it has a off-low-high setting

        Re: Disable reversing sensors temporarily

If you want to do a little wiring and have the sensors disable and enable automatically here is one I prepared earlier:

        viewtopic.php?f=16&t=6030&p=84782&hilit=+reversing +sensors#p84782

You can easily turn the speaker off but remember to turn it back on again. Not that the sensors are that reliable anyway. Another story...
