You wont need the de-ricer cleaning fluid!!! Precious money that could be spent elsewhere!!!
A quick trip into the scrub should remove any of those extra bits pretty quick, judging by the approach and departure angles!!!
Thanks for the dericer fluid but i don't need it. I live in the caribbean. None of our Prados ever see a trail. So departure and approach angles are not that important. Additionally, the kit is a factory option that i chose. Its not your taste and thats cool. i really love it.
So does your spare tyre live under the car? So fuel capacity is 90L?
The color coded roof rails look good.
Cheers,
Wil
yes spare tire lives under car. 90% of the Prado's here are VX. The others are TX. Mine is the only TZG which means i have every option including the air suspension and rear height control. it also has the front fender mirror. I wanted a lexus GX470 but didnt want LHD.
Where's here??? Your location isn't shown over here ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->

All on the back door so that another 90litre fuel tank can fit in the space underneath where the tyre would have been and that gives us 180litres of fuel in the 120 model. In the 150 model they carry 150 litres, I think. That provides a good range between fuel stops in a country where it could be a long distance between fuel stations if you are inland somewhere.

oh ok. I would hate to spend around 80K aussie dollars and have a spare tire on the back. In the caribbean we get the VX models without the door mounted spare. My father has a a 150 VX and his came as all the other 2010 models did without the spare on the door. However, because has no air sus like mine, his ride is much harsher. In addition, there is no disel option for us. all of our prados are gas only. If you want diesel, you have to import it yourself and those all have a door mounted spare.
The advantage of the back door for the spare wheel is easy access. If you are off-road and have it bogged or have a flat tyre, the back of the prado could be sitting down and getting the spare out from under the car could be very difficult. When on the back door you have easy access to it when needed AND, of course the extra fuel carrying ability is fantastic.
