  • Ordering basic spares online?

Hello, just joined, first post, so kindly excuse me if this question has been asked and answered 1000 times.

I live in Libya, North Africa. I purchased a 2008 120 series Prado (GRJ120R) in Dubai while passing through on my way back to Perth for a vacation. I picked up oil filters, air filters, fuel filters, brake pads etc from Fremantle Toyota while there. I've just about used up the air and oil filters and am wondering if there's an on line OEM spares shop that will deliver internationally either to Libya, or to the US or UK where I have a courier arrangement to on-ship items to me here in Tripoli.

It seems that Toyota aren't into online spare parts sales.

I'll be back in Perth in March and can collect some then, but it just adds to the baggage limit that I'd like to reserve for beer kits :-)

Thanks in advance for any tips.

    Cheers,

    Joe

p.s. this is a great site for the wealth of information as I have to service the Prado myself. The plug changing posts helped an non technical guy make a reasonable job of it.

When it comes to the parts you are chasing (primarily filters it would seem) is there any reason you are going OEM. There are aftermarket spares that are as good as the OEM stuff and they can be picked up quite readily online including eBay.

Thanks - found Denso 150-1003 Oil Filter and Mann-Filter MA 1140 Air Filter.

Seems like these are reasonable quality alternatives to OEM stuff which is fine by me and available on Amazon.com.

        www.toyotapartscheap.com

Great stuff at good prices. Not sure what your freight cost would be like.

You need the part number of what you are looking for ...I have ordered from two dealerships in the states for about 5 years most parts they have for the petrol models.
Any question's PM me I may be able to help you if not at least point you in the right direction.

Get your part numbers at www.toyodiy.com

Any decent online suppliers in the UK or thereabouts. Looking for a replacement dash.
