I am looking for a set of drawers for a 120. All of the ones on the market seem to cater for tradies , carry 150kg and are bomb proof. Is there anything on the market that is much lighter and suitable for camping gear?

Unsure if you have already made your decision re: the rear drawers. I went for a mob called 'Best Offroad'. Check out the link.... http://www.bestoffroad.net.au/ They are affordable (still more expensive then making your own though...) and great for touring / camping, as they just seem to 'suck up' all the loose stuff! The best thing about them, is they only weigh 50 kg, and are EASILY removable. I found with all the others, they are pretty much permanent....and if you want to remove them it will take a couple of hours. These can be installed in pretty quick time (say under 20 mins) and can be removed even quicker. The hardest part is lifting it in and out of the Prado. They use the existing luggage hook bolts...you just remove the luggage hook bolts and insert the supplied bolts from Best Offroad, which holds the drawers in place. So if you are like me and need your Prado for Family life around the city, but also want to have a capable 4WD when going offroad, this bolt in system is the way to go. I have tested it along Birdsville / Oodnadatta tracks, Lake Eyre and Finke Gorge (near Alice) and it stood some pretty rough corrugation and 'bumpy' rides. Just check the tightness of the bolts every so often, as you would with everything else.
