Haven't had a look at mine to measure, but it sounds like the bolts might be metric "fine" rather than "coarse".
      eg. M10 x 1.25 (I can't imagine the Japanese using imperial ?)

So you might have to go somewhere more specialised than Bunnings to find them.

Here's a handy reference to the standard diameters and pitches: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_metric_screw_thread

        DEFINITELY metric. 10x1.25 is correct.

I bought my bolts from Bunnings. Brand is Champion. Packet description is BM106 High Tensile M10 x 1.25 x 35 MET. There is only 3 per pack so I had to buy two packets to get the four required. They were $3 something a packet. I know that the same brand is available from Supercheap as I have bought them before.

          Cheers - Byrnsie

Love your work Chipster, the perfect packer with some kind of give.
I just fitted 275 x 70 17" Cooper STs and stole the chopping board idea.
I promised the handbrake that id buy her a new one. It was only 7mm thick so i doubled up
            Cheers

                  Hey Addy,

Suspension wise all ive done is put OME medium duty front springs,
kept original shocks all round. In the photo the airbags were set to high but even std height still looks pretty good. I want to use ATS4x4 kit for rear end but still waiting for pics or detail. Perths along way from where he is so will need him to post over gear and fit here
                  Cheers

Burnsie , i got M10 x 1.25 x 50 (met fine) , you only get 2 x 50mm bolts in each packet , so i was thinking i was better to buy the longer ones as my spacer is fatter ... then i could always cut them if need be .

The young guy in Bunnings says that didnt have them and i would have to try "Ace Fixings" , i persisted to look as you said they DID have them , then i spotted them ...Thanks for the pointer 8)

All fitted , the 50mm bolts were 3/4mm too long so i put a washer and a spring washer on there and all is sweet .

i have a good 8-10mm space between tyre and door panel which will allow for vibrations and whatever else might happen

thanks to the guys that advised me and to chips who was right all along ops:

                              Nice work fellas, as usual

The follow-up question is what kind of wheel cover (if any) does everyone use after fitting the larger rubber?
