I do not want to be a pain as I should have ordered earlier, but does end of June pickup mean that I could practically have the spacers fitted prior leaving on the 4th of July for our FNQ trip?

You will need tyre carrier spacers depending on what tyre size you have. What size have you got?

I can't make any guarantees on the exact date for the 2nd lot. So I've tagged you as urgent and maybe another member can relinquish their spot.

Or you can borrow my dogbone spacers as of next Friday, I will be running the Grandtreks for a while.

There is no drama's as current spacers will see the distance, I am just working through my list of lists and things to finalise before we head off.

AMTS: I've been very slow to pick up on this thread (have been away a lot in last couple of months). Is it too late to order??? My Grand Treks are now probably illegal & I've all but decided on replacing them with 275/65R17 BFGs. If you still have availability: which spacer size seems to be the go for this size???

I have separated the long post above into 2 so that the late June deliveries have a post of its own for status updates.

For those who are just reading this topic, I am organising the manufacture of spacers after I bought my own dogbone spacers from TJM (which cost me $75). As I can organise the manufacture of the spacers for a bit less, I thought I'd offer this oppurtunity to PP members.

The spacers comes in 2 sizes:
- 12.7mm for 265/70R17 - $46
- 20mm for 275/65R17 - $59
Anodising (black), foam lining (to protect spacers from scratching paintwork), high tensile bolts, flat washers and spring washers are included.

Postage is $10 to anywhere in Oz and will take up to 4 days for Aussie Post to reach the furthermost parts of Oz from ADL.
Payment is via bank deposit and I will request for payment once I pick up the spacers from the machinist.
It is then a 1 to 2 day turnaround for anodising. Then another 1 to 2 day turnaround for me to apply the foam lining and packaging.

ETA is mid to late July

Picked up the spacers as arranged the other day and just got around to unpackaging and installing this arvo.

The spacers are fantastic, and the included padding was a top idea.
