Seat replacement and seat position airbag sensor

I am looking to replace the seats in my 2008 Prado. It has a seat position air bag sensor fitted under the seat and connected to the cars wiring. Has anyone had experience in dealing with this component when fitting new seats?

I had recaro seats fitted and the sensor just needs to be fixed to metal as it has a magnet internally (as explained to me), so they zip tied it to the seat side rail.

I am not a mechanic and this is just what was explained and done to my seats.
