  • Rear view mirror removal

Hi, I'm fitting a reversing camera to my 120 GXL, it's the type with the rear view video that is displayed in the rear view mirror. Has anyone any advice on the best way to remove the existing mirror without damaging the windscreen?

Not sure if it is the same as the Rodeo but the mirror clips onto a block that is glued onto the windscreen. A set screw holds mirror in place. The new mirror clips onto that block. Have a look and see if there is the same arrangement on the 120.

Mine comes off by simply sliding the mirror upwards. There is a spring clip holding it in place. Just slide the whole thing up.
