    Our recent trip highlighted that there was nowhere convenient to store the bottles of booze...

    So I thought, why not make one

    a few off cuts of plywood later, and here it is

    Able to store 3 bottles of spirits

    Screws into existing holes from the plastic interior side step (you will need 50mm screws btw)

    A bit of carpet for the base to finish it off

    You'll need to put some thing between them or you be sucking it from the carpet from them rattling against each other then, crack.... Cheers Steve

      Great idea! I love it. I've been laying down bottles of booze in our drawers in the back, but they take up heaps of room and roll around if the drawer isn't full.. will use this one for sure

          the other way to solve this problem;

          use standard 6 bottle carton, and just drink more

            Hi All,

            If we take any, we always wrap them up in Newspaper and a Large rubberband around the middle of the bottle.
            This stops the newspaper from coming loose and stops all rattles and further protects against glass breakage.

                wine bottler coolers are great, they are like a big stubbie cooler and fit in the cup holders in the back of the 150.

                  You can also get bottle size stubby holders altough they are hard to find - sometimes certain bottles come with these covers from the shop

                  Agree that broken bottles would NOT be pleasant!

                      I need to do similar as the fridge is in the same spot and there is a lot of wasted space there.
