  • Upgrades to my 120 series

    Hi,

I have a standard Prado Landcruiser GXL 120 Series - Petrol and I'm looking to get a heap of mods done... I'm looking for a reputable 4x4 centre to get all the work done in August...any recommendations?

    Safari Snorkel
Dual Battery System / Anderson Plug
ARB steel bulbar (black) / winch / Fog lights / Spot Lights
ARB or Rhino Cage Roof Rack / with Awning
OME Suspension - Lift Kit - I'll be towing a camper trailer around Australia (about 1350kgs fully loaded), the ball weight loaded will be 220kg, the car will carry draws and be fully loaded as well.
    ARB air lockers
UHF Radio & Aerial (looking for solution to maximise both short & long range)

    Thanks in advance...MINO

                Guests 4WD - Fairfield.
We have covered pretty much most of that list and also had the injectors done through those guys. Not the cheapest, but happy with their work. On the suspension we went with the Koni 88/90's for our ride.

On the bull-bar, see if you can get them to add aerial mounts to the top of the bar. I thought they came with it, but our deluxe winch bar didn't, so I was a little disappointed when we picked her back up.

On the UHF we're going with the Icom 450

On the Diff lockers, I'd be leaning towards the e-lockers, but I haven't researched these so I'll leave that decision up to you.

Good luck with the build and future trips!

Can the chassis handle all that front load?
