    Nice one Quicky
Like the rear barrier setup, obviously some great R+D sessions. Bit small for bunk beds though

Top job-very impressive. I am looking at doing similar for a Canning trip next year. Very interested in how you have mounted the front cargo barrier without drilling holes, as the only barrier I can find that is dual position is the Ausguard and that requires drilling. Also, am I correct in assuming your storage mounts to the seat mounts?

A key value of the forum is the collective knowledge stored here. If you feel it is appropriate, maybe you can post the details as a reply for others to find in the future.

          Cheers,

Good point Live Free and Roam. I would really like to see the details too.
I'm heading off for a trip up the Cape as far as Seisia in a fortnight and am currently trialing version 4 of how to pack the D4D safely and comfortably. A bit late form me to try to build an extra storage system now for this trip, but may be useful for a trip to the Territory on 2009.

now the trip is over i have a little time to sit down and fill you in on some of the details on my handywork. as you can see by my origanal post the shelves bolt into the rear seat mounting holes at the front and the back is attached with a fabricated j bolt set up the front cargo barrier is a milford of e bay and is bolted in to the top grab hanle spot by a bracket i made just like the ausgaurd barrier does ( i have an ausgaurd in the back) and the bottom bolts to the two front seat inner runners with another bracket i made but it also requires a spacer about 20mm high to get above the runners recess around the bolt hole you also need longer high tensile bolts for this.
the braket i made for bottom mount

if there are any more questions i will endevour to answer them
