Additional fuel tank cost

Hello All,

I have a european 120 series D4-d.

It may come as a shock, but they only have the single 87 liter tank fitted.
thats the long one that fits front to back under the passenger side floor.

Any chance some of you good guys can get me some prices for tha additional tank, as in 'additional for europe.

then might need to sort out some shipping prices, to see if its all worth it.

I stumbled across this a month or so ago. A 170L replacement tank of our twin tank model. It replaces the "main" tank with I think is the same as your tank.

The price was around AUD1200.

Would also be worth talking to some of the boys who have had LPG installed as the 2nd tank comes out.

The rear tank looks the same as the older 90 series Prado . Worth checking out. You should be able to get one in Norway then .

Hello , and thanks for the various options.

The new options seems expensive. $1200, (well, here's me in Norway, saying 'thats expensive' ha, ha, ha)
I would not rather than put good cash into the dealers pocket.
However, it is has to be that way, then so be it.
Instead I would look to perhaps buy a 'removed' tank, where an LPG conversion has been done.
Little extra money coming back to off sett the cost of the conversion perhaps.
I was not aware that the older Prado's , now do you mean the 90 series?
The option of a 170 litre tank, was that in addition to the main 87 litre, or was that a replacement for the main (and only tank) in my case.
