Yep ... checked that ....

I actually wound up tapping a thread into the 8mm inside plate and using a shorter bolt that threads directly into the plate ... only a small part of the bolt head is visible through the plate and it appears to have reasonable clearance away from the tank. Not a lot ... but enough.
