K&N FILTER

Hey guys ,
i am chasing the part number for the K&n filter for a mate of mine who is having all sorts of issues chasing one.

I have one myself but as i am in PNG at the moment i dont have access to the number..

So if any one can help it would be really appreciated.

Oddly, no part number comes up for the Diesel but on the link below, he can do a search by VIN. Perhaps that might help.

I'm sure however that he has already tried K&N's search database (I'm assuming he is looking for the diesel version same as yourself).

Otherwise, I'm sure repco, auto one or similar could find out.

Close but not the right one......like i said i have one but need the part/serial number of the one for the 120 series TD...

I am after one of these as well. When I checkked the K&N site the 3.0l D$D wasn't listed, so I presumed they were not being manufactured as yet.
I checked the quoted part number above, and then cross referenced it on the K&N page. This is what I came up with.... http://www.knfilters.com/search/appl...x?Prod=33-2146

It shows that filter is used in Toyota 4.7l V8's.

Are you sure it is correct Mark??

Yes its the correct one i got it off the box which i still have in the Shed
It fits my D4D no worries

Very expensive engine to be using an almost non existent air filter for a 4wd application.

Proven with oil sampling to immiediately increase silica [dust] content in the oil when sampling with one of these aftermarket filters fitted.

I would stick with the factory filter.

Hi Banglabill here in good ole Perth, I have just fitted a K & N filter to my 2008 D4D and the number on the box is 33-2146
I have just fitted a 3" mandral bent exhaust and to-morrow 10-12-2010 a DP chip will be fitted so looking forward to that.

I have a brand new 12,000 lbs winch for sale if anyone is interested, still in the box
