My New Sliders and Kaymar bar

Just thought I would share a few pics with my two latest mods on the Prado...It pays to have good 4WD insurance that covered the damage with the sliders and rear bar...a $400 excess covered all the replacement costs....so very happy.

Nice bits Gordon, my father bought the same Kaymar bar and hes very happy with it. He also bought 2 stud axel covers so if you dont need to carry both tyres all the time you can take the arms off and slip them on. It stops them from rusting when your not using them. I think there around $22 each from Kaymar, I bought a set as well for my rear bar that I made,

Sorry to hijack guys but are the arms on the Kaymar the same for all vehicles with the bar being different of are they all vehicle specific.

I am not 100% certain but I dare say that due to the manufacturing process and cost savings, that most hinges, if not all hinges will be the same sizing. I would say that swivel arms are suited to each individual vehicle and therefore not the same dimensions (although very similar). I would be happy to be proved wrong here.

Probably best to email Kaymar for confirmation.

Did you had to chip in extrta $ to replace plastic bumber bar with Kaymar bar? My car is currently sitting with the insurance Co, waiting to find
out the change over costs. Please PM if you don't wan't to reply here.
