    Re: Solid axle swap anyone

Just need to add to the list and commend the bloke on some awesome engineering.

I have been around the performance street car/drags for a while and only really seen that sort of work on rear ends!

Just adds another notch to our countries growing list of talent.

Mick - if I did that to my Prado "resale" would be irrelevant. I would never want to get rid of it! A nice 1UZ or GENIII Chev would compliment it just nicely... Probably closely followed by divorce

Sweet photos! I'm in the process of gathering all the gear for my sas. Except ill be using a right hand drop hilux transfer case , so I can use a standard 80 series housing. Also with free wheeling Hubs and marks adaptors abs relocation kit so I can still keep abs, 14" king coilovers , and ill have to figure out something with the exhaust as it runs down where the front tailshaft will be ... Did you go ahead with yours? And all another question, when they remove those 2 crossmembers that the ifs bolts up to , do you out another custom crossmember under there to strengthen the chassis ? In all the sas write ups novody takes any photos of that part!!!
