Centre Console Coin Holder

Our cup holder is used for exactly that, which always makes it a pain to grub around in the centre console, or pants pockets, while on the move looking for coins.

I sourced a spring loaded coin holder from ebay, a couple of screws later and voila! It's removable for security, out of sight of opportunist grubs and easy to get at for both driver & passenger.

Now that is a great idea. I use a plastic dinner box, but the money floats around loose in there and it's always a pain to find the correct money when I need it.
I might have to go look for something similar.

It is one of the annoying things about the 120, that is, no tray on the centre console for phones or bits & pieces.
Has anybody found anything to do the job?

isn't that what ash trays are used for these days??? I've got no other use for it

Although with a bit of weight (more than about $10) it does slideopen under accelleration...

Maybe a coin holder is the way of future!

Has to one of the easiest mods I've read on the forum so far, very innovative. Though I'm lucky enough that so far living in the NT there are no roads that I have to pay to go on.

Ash tray is a temporary spot reserved for EGT monitors, electric trailer brakes and other bulkier items.
