          Why??

They only cost $50 for the bits... I reckon the wrecker would charge that at least.

If $50 bucks is more than you want to spend, fair enough.

If they were a $50 option when purchasing, many would not choose them - after all they are only a means of getting water onto the windscreen.

For most of motoring history we survived without such luxuries.

                BUT

Having fitted a set (and they are a bit of a bloody pain to fit) I agree that the $50 is the best money I have spent on my Prado!

The difference between the stock washer jets and the Hilux replacements is astounding and useful.

BTW, I too was concerned when both jets arived with the "RH" label, which I took to be "right hand side". I checked with the dealer and made him check with the factory - they are ALL labelled "RH". Go figure.

                cheers, Tony

                  Hi All,

After reading the 6 pages of this topic, I assume that they will fit a 07/08 Prado??

                  Can someone please confirm this??

This is so I can get mine on order.

                  Thank you

I'm now one of the converted. Did mine tonight, $52, plus bought 4 clips on the advice of others. Took all of about 10 minutes, due to the good advice of connecting the tube before re-fitting the new jet.
Is the TD different.....only had to remove 2 clips (only broke one)
Absolutley worth every cent. Thanks all.

                        Hi All,

I got my spray kit. Blood Toyota in Geelong charged me $62.00 for them.

                        Now to get them fitted.

1st service is coming up, so I will get it done then, while they change the oil and filte.

Ya gotta luv the pricing differences around the country.

I paid $42 for mine .. from the local Toyota place. I had the Prado booked in for a service and was looking forward to putting the washer jets in when I got it home.

The mechanic doing the service on the car decided it was a quick job anyway so he fitted them for me .. free of charge

                            Cheers
