While I was in my local dealer picking up the prado after its 130k service I went round to the parts department and they finally recognise the part number Have to order them in and price is $29.20 each (inc. GST).
Can't believe I put up with the ebay jobbies for 1.5 years. I finally got around to buying the original jets (Thanks Matt) because I was driving into the night through the Hay plains and I ran out of washer fluid as the ebay jobbies let out too much water and had uneven spray pattern. I installed them tonight and they are awesome, just like the ones in our Tarago. Paid $45 a pair inc.
vs Trekriders $58 in WA! Is there anything cheaper over there?
I noticed that too - it would be cheaper for me to get Andrew to get me a set and post them over to me I'm obviously going to have to do more searching.
Tried this ages ago, but I don't think I every posted about it. I got a PM asking about it.
Mate I tried the hilux washer jets on the 90 series and it didnt work out well. The 90's have a flatter bonnet & steeper windscreen which means once the hilux washer is fitted, it sprays water at the bottom of the screen, the level the wiper blades sit at. I butchered the hilux jet trying to get it to sitting better, then fitted it back into the hilux work ute. They are not adjustable like many wahser jets are.
Has anybody else tried this mod on a 90/95 series?
