grande airbag removal

hi guys i was wanting to know if you can remove the air bags in the rear of the grande`s and replace them with springs with ease ? would there be anything stopping this swap ? just curious at the moment

Hi Matt,
That thread that you linked to does not contain information regarding the removal of the airbags to fit springs. The airbags still remain on the vehicle while all the other suspension components are changed.

I have heard ARB Regency remove the airbags and fit springs but I don't know if the Grande has spring seats or not to allow for a simple removal.

Best to ring ARB Regency, SA. I have heard this through a 3rd party who does ARB Regency's suspension upgrade when they have an overflow of work.

From what I have researched you can remove the airbags and swap to springs.

you have to change the housing at the top as the housing is different for springs and for airbags. So you have to change to the ones which fit the springs.

As long as you keep him away from the Boags the fighting Parrots do not come out :lol: :lol:

Yes it can be done I think its the top plate for the spring with the keeper that needs changing.
