    Hello

    I have a 2007 gxl t/d and i was going to put a lift kit under her but i dont know if i should go 2'' or 3'' any pro's con's any one ???

    3" is a lot more expensive than 2 and will require a lot more work due to stress on CVs and control arms. By a lot more it would be at least twice the price if not three times. Would also be illegal but then so are 70 series tyres.

      i just a 2inch lift in my grande its a great comfy ride looks great and doesnt upset the cv angles to much
      thats my 2c mate

        a 3" normally requires a diff drop at the front (as per Jordo’s comment on the CV’s). If you are not into competition style work or are going to turn it into a monster truck, I would (and I did) stick to a 2” and spend the other money on bash plates for the items that you are still too low for.

          What's a 2" lift worth anyway? It's just the replacement of springs and shocks isn't it? What's cv stand for?

            lift kit prices can go from about $ 900 to $2000 plus fitting, CV shaft Constant Velocity shaft connects the front diff to the wheels to drive them, it has a joint in the middle to allow the up and down movement of the wheel as well as left and right movement to allow for turning, lift it to high and it puts to much strain on the joints and they can fail alot earlier then expected. cheers samo
            had an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear.
