  • How to lift Grande front end.

G,day everyone, just found the site a wealth of information. Look forward to submitting regularly. I have seen a website in America that took the Lexus GX470 and completely went nuts on it, there solution to lift the front end was to cut the front shock absorbers and weld a spacer in, therefore maintaining the adjustability of the front shock. Has anyone done this to their vehicle and with what results. And any other solutions for this problem

It would be about whatever the list price in the ARB catalogue is less about 10 or 11% becuase i had nearly all modifications done within a month and was able to negotiate a decent price. Dont forget to include price of compressor, unless they still have a deal on when fitting lockers.

Been covered a few times here before, you can lift the grande and keep the standard shocks without cutting them from what i understand?

Do a search on it here and it will bring up those who have done it before, particuarly ATS 4x4 in Geelong.

Can go 2" lift without hassles. Not sure how long the shocks would last going to a 3" raise though.!!
