has anyone installed the poly airbags and intalled in cab pressure gauges? - had a search couldnt find anything
would be handy for filling and checking for leaks
I understand the leaking bit, but my firestone airbags I just fill at the valves installed near my towball, so I don't see how gauges in cab would benefit...
Too many gauges can be a bad thing - I think I will concentrate on the road rather than worrying about an airbag leaking...

I really cannot see why you would bother. Given the low pressures involved getting gauges to read accurately enough to make it worthwhile may be problematic. No reason why Tyredogs wouldn't read but running extra hose is only giving more scope for a leak. I have had Polyairs in various vehicles for the last 15 years or so and only had one leak and that was when too much hose was left over and it fell onto the exhaust. Quickly fixed.

i was thinking of using some low pressure gauges - similar to a autometer boost gauge / one gauge for each bag?
the purpose of the gauges where to make sure the bags have the right pressures at all times-( as the bags are probably inflated and forgot about)
Bit of overkill considering the polyair bags only go between 4 to 30 psi, I too just air the poly's via the 2 outlets in the back panel. Poly's are designed to be adjusted when the weight is applied and then left alone unlike an air suspension system where the girls can be impressed (not) by playing with the ride heights as you go along

FC I thought you added the air to the bags, then loaded the car, then dropped the height (if necessary). Has this changed????????????
