I had an ARB Sahara Bar fitted just before Xmas. Forgot to take measurements before fitting, so only have after measurements. These were taken with only 1/2 tank of fuel (45L). Took measurements twice at different spots to get average. Ground wasn't exactly level.
FR 740/745 AV 742.5
FL 747/740 AV 743.5
RR 765/775 AV 770
RL 775/765 AV 770
Difference = 27mm
Side steps level at 310mm
The new bar doesn't seems to have dropped nose at all. It seems to have only tightened up the front so it feels less bouncy but that really just a guess. Vehicle feels good when towing the boat and boot full of tools. Will see how it settles over next few months before deciding to do. May just change struts/shocks and leave springs.

Just picked up some very low kilometer second hand OME 896 rear coils to try out in the 150. The drawers and fridge have given me abit of weight to carry around. I'm planning to try some different set ups for the rear end with regards to the weight of my camper and stuff to see what suits me best.

I'm still happy with mine. I went 2895 at the back and really both 2896 and 2895 are good depending what you're after. I must say ARB after sale has been really good. They rang me a couple of times make sure all is well etcOriginally posted by Flea LeCrowds View PostHi pjorek, Are you happy with the OME lift and performance? I have mine booked in for Thursday so am interested to hear from anyone who has had the work done recently.

Hi Flea, I had OME installed into mine a week or so back. 2884 springs with 90000 sport struts in front, and 2896 springs and 60004 sport shockies in the rear.
Measurements as follows:
Before - LF 730, RF 740, LR 765, RR 770
After - LF790, RF 790, LR 830, RR 835
Definately a firmer ride, but feels heaps more stable. Before and after shots on my rig build also. Haven't had a proper chance to test it all out yet, but am sure it will be up to the challenge!

I was getting 880mm full extension at the rear and 845mm at the front with standard shocks. With similar length rear shocks to AJs and some sway bar spacers, I got 930mm at max extension. Read post #230 in this thread for details. At the front, I ended up with a max extension of around 890mm with longer struts, I also have a diff drop kit from AMTS to reduce CV angles at max droop.Originally posted by pjorek View PostSo getting 70 to 80 droop. Seems interesting that new OME shocks give you similar drop to standard shocks, which means height was gained for reduced shock travel. Are most here getting 880s and 890s drop at the back?

Guest repliedIf you look in the Suspension Database thread, the OME shocks are only 5mm longer than factory.Originally posted by pjorek View PostSo getting 70 to 80 droop. And AJ120's LC80 shocks are 45mm longer.

Thats around what I was getting with the OME Prado shock, I changed to 80 series rear shocks (OME N71E) and extended the rear sway bar links and now get 930mm. Pretty happy with that result, full details in my build thread.
Cheers Andrew
