radiator protection

hi everyone im fairly new to pp, have been checking out all the info on mods etc, i have charcole d4d auto on order online tracking states dec build. umm.
thinking of fitting ome lift /arb bar/ safari snorkel + dual batts etc later
i saw on one thread that with the toyota bar fitted you need protection for your raditor has it is left exposed. is this a problem with other makes of bars?
also thinking of fitting either 245/70r/17 coopers or 265/65/17 cooper atr but im i right in saying this size is not light truck constuction?
great web site & great info although does confuse one when so many diff options

steve, the ARB bar has good radiator protection, no need for any extra plates. their is no LT in 265/65/17 that we know of.

Thanks Hutch...im still undecided about which tyres to change to, ive read all the talk about illegal fitment etc re 265/70R/17..how do you rate the Bridgestone 694,s you have fitted and are they LT construction.
