  • Pedders Suspension?

Has anyone installed a 2 inch lift kit using the Pedders brand suspension? I have a dealer around the corner that has done some work on my car and truly goes out of their way to help me. They have quoted me a Pedders 2 inch lift kit for the 120 including their foam cell technology (trekryder) struts/shocks but I can't find any feedback from anyone that runs this setup. I would appreciate opinion from anyone who has run this set up or knows of someone who has. Thx

Alot of people bag the Pedders gear but Im not really sure why.
Dont quote me but I think its Monroe gear thats rebadged for Pedders.
The company has been around for a long time and their products are very good.
Nation wide workshops to back you up for warranty.
Dont be put off if they tell you things like your LCA bushs or Steering Rack bushs are naffed... Especially if your ks are getting high.
Get a price on it all and if you can afford it get them changed over.
Ive found pedders have giving me the only wheel alignmrnt thst i have been happy with first time.

What work are they doing and what was the quote?
HERS - KZJ120, BILSTIEN / KINGS, AMTS GEAR, RHINO GEAR, OUTBACK DRAWERS ETC ETC ETC
MINE - HDJ78 RV TROOPY. 1HDFTE. TWIN FACTORY LOCKERS. STEINBAUER POWER. OME LIFT. BEAST.

A local mechanic here (who is also the local chip-it guy) has pedders in his 200 series and he loves it. He does a lot of road driving and towing, and a bit of beach 4wding.

      Cheers

I've had the Pedders TrakRyder shocks and struts on my 120 with Ironman springs and they performed very well.
We did a lap around Australia, including Gary Junction Road and Gibb River road and they handled the corrugations very well.
My only constructive feedback is they are quite firm in the ride, so if you like firm handling, they perform well, but if you like a softer ride, I suggest Bilsteins
I've now replaced my Pedders with Bilsteins (still using the ironman springs) and they are produce a much more plush ride

Thanks for the feedback macka. They are still talking reasonable $ - $1250.00 + GST (supply ONLY) + wheel alignment or $nearly $1,700.00 drive away. I tend to think from what of have read in the PP forums and checked out online if I play my cards right I can get a set of Bilsteins with Kings (installed) for that sort of $.

not that I can compare like for like but I have Pedders springs and Bilstein shocks in my other brand Shorty. I very good combination that meets my needs.

Been installed nearly 5 years and has done 30,000km of outback touring including the cape plus all the usual day and weekend trips locally
