  • GRANDE SUSPENSION LIFT

    G'Day guys,
just a note to let you know the 120 GRANDE can be lifted 40mm in the suspension with new front springs to suit extra acc like winch and bar, dual batteries etc.

We also can lift the rear, with factory air bag suspension.

Not to many have tried this, but I know there are many who require it.

We have had a lift for the V/GXL versions since they came out in the 120, using Bilsteins to our design, and Ridepro coils for our set up, to suit height and load.

Matt, I quoted you the price, and will stick with quoted prices for 2006, but we have had a freight price rise and steel prices have steadily risen for 2 years now, so the kit price has now become $1595 inc GST.

We also have a strap limiter for the rear diff, to prevent the air bag coming out on the grande at full articulation, [strap fix $379] which is a $1800 fix in parts and labour if it does come out, the car drops to the bumpstops when it happens, and warranty hasnt covered the 3 Im aware of to date.

HI Guys i have just had this fitted to my Prado. Mannell motors in Sydney fitted the kit supplied by ATS. They had the car for the day and completed it easily with no dramas.

The car now rides higher with a feel similar to a setting 1 down from sport on the selector. I have not had the chance yet to realy test it off road although it seems like it will be excelent as the jaring i found with the factory setup has gone and it feels alot smoother.

I will re post once i have tested it off road. Adds
                    thanks Adds

                      adds,

Can i ask total price? I noticed on another forum that you said the rear suspension rides about 30mm higher and is still adjustable.

We also like pic's too

Hi Ad the total price fully installed with the rear retainer kit (this is new)was $2470 including wheel alignment and everything else.

Yes the standard air bag suspension in the rear is still fully operational the only thing not, is the adjustable dampeners on the shocks. They are electricaly controled so the wiring is still there so the system can be reversed when i sell the car in 6 months or so to buy another one, diesel this time. I will fit this to the new one from the start.
                        I hope this helps
                        Adam
                        thanks Adds
