Another disaster has unravelled for my little Toyota... I recently replaced old, old, Old Man Emu shocks with beautiful Koni RAIDs up the front of the car, but it was obvious at the time that the mounting hardware wasn't quite right. Surely ARB wouldn't have thrown away the original Toyota gear and substituted it with OME parts? Seems that they have. Anyways, the shroud has now come loose rattle rattle rattle (and threatening to scrape my beatiful Koni shaft) and after a couple of hours trying to make it go back and stay back I decided the whole plot would be more stable without, so I reassembled it shroudless..
Does anyone have an exploded diagram of the front suspension components? I need to know what is supposed to sit above the spring (and the order) so that I can ascertain what's missing or has been replaced with OME crap I mean parts. A diagram or picture would be great. I have a Max Ellery workshop manual but it's no use to see exactly what's going on.
I am never EVER buying a second hand car again EVERRRRRrrrarrrghhh.
Sorry, just watched Jekyll on ABC. Good show.
