Well I am about to join the ranks of the ATS converts. I emailed Darren and he put me in touch with his agent in Adelaide which is another Darren.
I just got off the phone with Darren in Adelaide and there is a shortage of Bilstein front shocks at the moment but I will not be down there till the first week of July so he thinks I should be good to go.
I am also going for the Polyairs at the same time just so that when we get the camper we will be good for towing it.

I am no longer at ATS, [affordable tyres] and have moved on to a new venture, my email address is now [email protected] and my phone no is 0409 513 549, or you can PM me with my new account name, which i will create shortly, if you wish to contact me, I am more than happy to answer any questions, or techinical detail, or have a chat about prado's.
Looking forward to taking prado mods to the next level
All the best. Seems like nothing is as constant as change. Saw your other post. I consider my Prado one of your children - well at least you contributed to her!
Am still waiting on a "new" pair of Billy's to arrive in AUS so Darren at TTT in Adelaide can remove his 2nd hand ones (and Lovelle springs) and fit the newies with the Ridepros that are still on the shelf.
He also mentioned he could rasie the font a smidgeon more (i guess put that circlip in the max height position). any dramas with this? i also notice the front, although better than stock - is still not as hard as i would like. wonder if that will be fixed with the ridepro in place of the lovelle &/or new billy???? :?:
Easter-08 White GXL D4D Auto - delivered in near record time (5d) from placement of order. Has turned into a "Bermuda" or "Swiss fund" where $ get lost or converted into mods/accessories.
G'Day, without knowing what the lovells coils are, could be difficult to comment, but the next best step if you want more from your 120, is to fit the FOX adjustable compression/rebound remote res units.
Darren @ TTT knows the requirement for droop on install, and will set the vehicle so the height is correct, as high as it can be without risking topping the shock out all the time, and becoming unreliable.
Bilstein has a 5-6 week advance time for manufacturing runs, and I believe the 120 front ones should be here by the end of the month, so i will have them in stock as soon as they arrive.
Thanks to Cliff and you for getting the suspension kit across to syd. Tested on the Watagans trip yesterday, awesome handling. For once I didn't hear my wife say she's got a headache during the drive all day
The Playdo does'nt bounce like a roo anymore 8). Issue with the sliders is all sorted. Just had to re-align them on the chassis.
For anyone wanting this kit fitted in the North West of Syd, got it done at Tyre King, Baulkham Hills. Very reasonable labour cost and excellent fitting. I don't work or have any affiliation with them. Might save you some $$'s driving down to Heasmans Steering.

Cheers,

Self confessed PP addict!! hmm.. now thats not a bad habit is it......
Well I am not sure that I will be able to get my kit installed in Adelaide as they are having a problem getting the kit, some stuff up with what was sent to ATS from the supplier. I was hoping to hear something today but I guess Darren in Lonsdale did not hear back from ATS.

From what Darren has told me it seems what ATS ordered is not what they received and now they are trying to get a rush order done.

Crikey, I was just looking at the website mentioned in the winch thread and thought I would check out the suspension products and this is what they have written for the Billy's:
Not recommended for harsh/extreme off road conditions/use like The Canning Stock Route, if the vehicle is driven hard & very heavily loaded!
Basically they say the Billy's are good for bitumen and dirt roads.
Maybe the Billy lift kit is not the best choice after all??????

I watched a video on the canning stock & a 100 series cruiser destroyed both front Billys on the trip, tore the eyes clean out of the shocks, they fitted thier spare original shocks to finnish the track

Just from reading the posts on PP you get a feel for how some of the products will stand up in real life and not just an advertising blurb.
A lot depends on how hard you drive
 this makes a big difference to how everything on your rig stands up.
Yes every product has a breaking point.
