How to adjust Bilstein A712 shocks

I see Jusso has the V6 rather than the Diesel. I've read that the V6 is lighter than the D4D. Could this be why?

I just looked it up. The GVM of the V6 is 50kg lighter than the D4D. 2850 vs 2900.

Well, it's been a couple of weeks and the front hasn't settled any. Kings/Jason are going to send me a set of standard KTFR-101 springs as they are 10mm shorter which should translate to about 20mm lower. This should put it around 790mm which should be about right.

How did you manage to do this without removing the strut. I would like to take mine up a notch also but don't want to pull everything apart.

You do need to unbolt the LCA and the top strut nut to bring the strut down to move the circlip.

Hey Neil,
Check out AMTS' excellent description of the process elsewhere on PP (Suspension section I think) and/or check out the following utube videos which show the process on a Toyota Tacoma but it is almost identical to a Prado. It is a pretty easy job using this method.
