  • 2" lift recommendations

Hi guys I'm looking at a 2" lift for my 120 series 2007 prado. With so many options available and good and bad reviews from 4wd mechanics on kits I can't really decide on what best suits me. I do not have a steel bull bar or winch on and am using my prado for mostly highway driving and camping trips however I do want to be able to give the hard tracks a crack on occasion when I find them. Suggestions??

      Drivetech for $1250.00?
I can give you Bilsteins and Kings kit for not much more than that.
      All those prices seem high.
I hope they include fitting, or they are all way too dear.

      Regards, Jason.

You will get the same thing here, good and bad reports and reviews on most brands. Suspension, tyres, fridges....... You name it, one person will say they love x brand and the next person will rubbish it and say you should get y brand.

Most of the better brands of suspension seem to offer good results, steer clear of the cheap stuff and ebay specials.

The most important thing is to get the springs matched to your expected load, airbags in the rear can give some adjustability for varying loads.

The is lots of reading on the forum around different brands, get a drink of your choice, check out the search function and start reading, hopefully it doesn't confuse you even more

        Cheers Andrew
